What to Expect

Here at El Centro First Assembly of God we want to give you, our guest, a small glimpse into

what you can expect during one of our gatherings.

We know that finding the right church can be rough! We also understand that there are many questions people have before they attend a church the first time. Therefore, we hope to answer a few of those most frequently asked questions here.

What is the music like?

In our worship service gatherings our music could be described as contemporary/gospel. Each week, our congregation is led by a worship team and band, as well as a choir.  People will stand and sing, clap their hands, and raise their hands during these times.

What do people typically wear?

We are blessed in being a very diverse congregation in every sense of the word. We are an inter-generational, intercultural congregation who come from every walk of life. Therefore, people in our church family can be found in everything from a shirt & tie with slacks and dresses, to comfy blue jeans, sneakers and a t-shirt. We simply want you to come as you are most comfortable and enjoy God's presence.

What does a typical service consist of?

You can expect a warm and genuine welcome, upbeat music, opportunity to greet others and a Biblical message designed to challenge, encourage and inspire.

Do you offer child care?

We have a well staffed and pre-screened Children's Ministry that includes a nursery, toddler class, and Children's Church Every Sunday morning. Our nursery is open during every gathering at El Centro First Assembly.

What is the length of a service?

Sunday gatherings are approximately an hour and a half in duration.
